As a professional in public relations and photography, it may seem odd that I also write resumes. It’s not so odd to me.
Resumes are a natural extension to my work. In my view, a resume is like an incredible image – it showcases talents, skills, and individual achievements. Unlike an image, a resume is presented in a font rather than a photo. Competed properly, a resume can improve one’s self-esteem, confidence and ultimately aid in accomplishing a vital goal.
The hiring climate has changed in recent years. It’s a “buyers market” and employers are the ones make the purchases. A main function of public relations is to build your brand and when it comes to resumes, you need to build your brand so that employers want to buy.
